Installation of the 3rd Machine for Large-diameter GRP pipes.

Al-Watani's third and newest continuous-filament winding machine is now fully operational. Machine No. 3 was commissioned in October 2007 and is now capable of producing GRP pipes and couplers of nominal sizes ranging from DN300 to DN2600. 

This third machine acquired from the Italian Company

 


VEM, has boosted Al-Watani's GRP pipe production from 45 pipes to over 70 pipes per day which is equivalent to about 25 to 30 kilometers of pipeline per month. All of Al-Watani GRP pipes are produced through cutting edge pipe automation technology backed by experienced operators and GRP technicians.
